Ten years ago, we started Gulch Distillers with a simple vision: to share the story of our place with exceptional spirits from locally sourced ingredients. Our family-owned, locally operated distillery has proven itself in ways we never expected, thanks to the support of our incredible community and the dedication of our remarkable staff.

Though we are a few months away from our ten-year anniversary, we are just a month away from opening our new tasting room—a stylish, historic, and welcoming space designed to enhance the Gulch Distillers experience. We will continue to craft fresh, balanced, and intentional cocktails from our Helena-produced spirits, but in an atmosphere consistent with Downtown Helena. As we work through the construction, permitting, and approval of this project, we’ve realized that we need some extra support from our Gulch family to help us cross the finish line.

Your contribution will help us continue our commitment to quality, innovation, and showcasing the best of local flavors. Whether you’ve been with us from the start or are just discovering what makes Gulch Distillers special, we invite you to be part of this exciting next step.

Contribution Levels

Thank you for your support! Purchases can be made in our online store or in our current tasting room and credit cards are accepted. However, if you’d like to pay cash or check (to save us processing fees) please contact us to reserve your perk. Checks can be sent to Gulch Distillers, 790 Front Street, Helena, MT 59601.

Contribution Terms & Conditions

• Recognition Only – Your contribution at the $500, $600, or $1,000 level provides name recognition on a designated chair, stool, or booth for a period of three (3) years. This does not constitute ownership or exclusive rights to the item.
• Seating Availability – While we appreciate your support, we cannot guarantee that you will be able to sit in the specific chair, stool, or booth bearing your name during your visits. Seating remains open to all guests on a first-come, first-served basis.
• Duration of Recognition – Name plaques or other forms of recognition will remain in place for three (3) years from the date of installation. Gulch Distillers reserves the right to adjust, replace, or remove name recognition if necessary due to wear, damage, or operational changes.
• Invitation to First Night of Service – Contributors at the $500+ levels will receive an invitation to an exclusive opening-night event in the new tasting room. This invitation is non-transferable and applies to the donor. Please ensure you provide correct contact information.
• No Refunds or Transfers – All purchases are final and non-refundable. Contributions are considered a gesture of support for Gulch Distillers and do not provide any equity, voting rights, or decision-making authority. Donations are not tax deductible.
• Recognition Name Approval – Names for plaques or other recognition materials are subject to approval by Gulch Distillers and must align with our community and brand values.
• All Regulations Apply – The Private Cocktail Class and Private Bottling Party must follow our service and sales limits and must be scheduled in advance in consultation with Steffen and Tyrrell.
• Local Pick-Up – Hats and Flasks are available for local pickup. We will contact you when your items are ready and can ship upon request.
