Healthy Mothers, Healthy Babies, The Montana Coalition Inc. is a 501(3)(c) nonprofit organization formed in 1984. The organization’s vision is that there will be a safe and healthy beginning for all babies in Montana. HMHB endeavors to improve the health, safety, and well-being of Montana families by supporting mothers and babies, age zero to three. We provide educational resources to families in Montana on healthy pregnancy, parenting, and maternal and family health. We also provide car seats and cribs to families in need through our Safe Seats for Baby and Safe Sleep for Baby programs.
We provide outreach and resources to communities all throughout Montana. Through our network of county health departments and nonprofits throughout the state we aim to reach all Montana families.
We work a great deal with the Helena community through our educational programs and Safe Sleep and Safe Seats program. Our relationship with Lewis and Clark County Health and St. Peter’s hospital allows us to tap into local issues and pilot projects here in Helena.
